Welcome to the Pool Club, the ultimate jewel in the crown of Sun Ranch.
This isn’t just any pool—it’s a sprawling 25-metre (82-foot) oasis carved from natural basaltstone, perched on a hillside with a sweeping north-easterly view of the hinterland. Crafted from the very rocks of Sun Ranch itself, The Pool Club is a marvel of monolithic architectural design, showcasing the untamed essence of the land.
The Pool club is a blank canvas for brand activations runway shows, photoshoots or gorgeous private long table lunches for your Full Ranch Buyout.

THE FIELD HOUSE
Introducing The Field House, the heart of rustic luxury where culinary alchemy and fiery feasts come to life.
This outdoor cooking and dining haven boasts a bespoke brick Argentinian BBQ and a fire pit, framed by 70s-inspired seating that beckons for animated conversations.
With an alfresco kitchen, ranch fire pit seating, and room for up to 50 dining guests, this expansive open-air sanctuary sets the stage for unforgettable gatherings.
HORSES ON THE RANCH
Sun Ranch is the holiday home of Zephyr Horses, Byron Bays top riding club. We offer a 1 hour onsite horseback tour meandering along ridgelines and creekside followed by a picnic and cold beverage. Our team will contact you to gather rider info to complete your booking, including your age, height, weight, and experience to allocate your horse / confirm your ride time.
Group Ride (3+ People) - Horses on the Ranch $299 Per Person
Private Ride (1-2 People) - Horses on the Ranch $799 Per Couple
GO EASY DAM
When you’re not poolside, head to the wellness space for an ice bath, sweat it out in the woodfired floating sauna that holds up to ten guests, or take a dive in the dam.
MELLOW FIELDS
Alongside the Field House you’ll find a designated area for lawn games, meditation or yoga. A little bit of relaxation and a lot of fun, Mellow Fields is the ultimate hang-out-in-the-sunshine-with-friends zone (but it can also be great if you need a little solo Zen time too).
THE BADMINTON CLUB
A novelty badminton court that’ll play host to a fierce competition, a casual match or an ice-cold G & T, The Badminton Club is a dreamy spot located in the shade of the gumtrees. This is a multi purpose space that can be utilised as an event space as well.
THE COWBOY BAR
Your first port of call when you step foot onto the Ranch, the Cowboy Bar, is found within The Rambler Long House. While this is the communal space where you check in, the saloon doors will swing open for bar service at varied times throughout your stay.

STONEY RIDGE HEALING CIRCLE
Perched at the top of the Sun Ranch property and marked by giant boulders and a fire pit, is Stoney Ridge Healing Circle. This picturesque area is perfect for meditation or celebration.
THE WHISKEY LOUNGE
One of the shared spaces found within The Rambler Long House, The Whiskey Lounge is complete with low set designer furniture which flows into an alfresco undercover dining space. Think great music, exceptional design, and the perfect nightcap.
THE LAIR
A vibrant sunken lounge located within The Rambler Long House, this collective area seats 30 guests around an incredible sculptural fireplace.
Home to our “live in the Liar” performances.
The Liar suits many occasions. It’s also where our complimentary Full Ranch breakfasts are served for all guests each morning.
COSMIC COWBOY ADDITIONS
We know what it’s like. Sometimes you get to a luxury stay and just want to laze by the pool with a margarita and a book in hand (an excellent choice). Other times you want to level up your stay with that little bit extra (an equally excellent choice). That’s where our Cosmic Cowboy Additions come into play. THE SWINGERS CLUB AT BYRON CREEK
For another adventure, take a wander or swing over your very own piece of Byron Creek. With 350m of creek frontage you can explore the magical vibe under the natural canopies. Try to spot the family of platypus whilst you’re down there. We are committed to regenerating our part of Byron Creek to encourage the return of abundant wildlife and the native rainforest. Set on fertile land, the Sun Ranch Regeneration Program recently planted 10,000 native plants and trees in an effort to revive the flora within the area.
